If someone tells you that Jesus was just a good man, and not the Son of God, can you Contend for your Faith (Jude 1:3)?

If someone were to ask you to articulate the saving grace that you hold so dear, can you open your Bible and show that you are a Workman that needeth not to be ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15)?

Or are you like so many others that find the Bible a mysterious and daunting book? And that the idea of rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) is something best left to the clergy.

But what if the clergy are lying... how do you know? Which one of them do you believe?

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (Jude 1:3-4)
