In the following YouTube video, Michael Pearl answers the Bible Question:

Is it possible for someone to lose their salvation?

In October of 2010, Michael met with a group of plain people to speak with them concerning their faith. Debi Pearl, Michael's wife, wrote about their experience on her blog here: Shunned For Their Belief

The audio of those meetings covers the key doctrines of salvaton and sanctification with questions from the more than 200 Plain People that attended. The 15 hours of audio is being offered free for a limited time from No Greater Joy Ministries. PLAIN TALK is available by following this link.

CHURCH AT CANE CREEK CLEAN UP

Bookmark and Share
In the first two days of May 2010, more than 13 inches of rain fell on middle Tennessee. Some areas reported more than 19 inches of rainfall. The Cumberland River reached nearly 12 feet above flood stage and crested at just under 52 feet before the waters finally began to recede. Hundreds of people were rescued from their homes by boat and canoe. Thousands of residents were displaced from their homes. Just over 30 lives were lost as a result.

In the midst of the loss, the Church at Cane Creek joined together to worship and give thanks for all that remained. Then, they all rolled up their sleeves and started putting things in order. Enjoy this video by by Erin Harrison of the clean up day at Cane Creek and some of the surrounding activities.

Michael and his wife, Debi Pearl live in Tennessee where their ministry No Greater Joy is located. Together the Pearls have written numerous books and articles about child training, marriage and family.

Michael teaches on the controversial subject of security of the believer. This is new material. Don’t jump to conclusions. This is not old fare rehashed; you will be surprised at what you hear. The Church has been divided, both sides holding to a portion of Scripture while explaining away the other Scripture. Can one believe all the Scripture on both sides of the issue? Absolutely.

WHY DID GOD TURN HIS BACK ON JESUS?

Bookmark and Share
Michael Pearl is the author of the Gospel tract GOD MADE JESUS TO BE SIN. No Greater Joy Ministries has made it available to you at the cost of printing.
(Click on the image to order.)

Below, you can read the text:
GOD MADE JESUS TO BE SIN -- A sinner by faith

Kneeling in the garden, Jesus believed God and received the weight of sin.

God “made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Cor. 5:21).”

God was willing to see Jesus as a sinner that He might be permitted to see us as righteousness. Jesus became what we are that we might become what He is. By the imputing act of God, He became a sinful son of man so we could become sinless sons of God. It was a trade. He traded His righteousness for our sin. He then bore the consequences of our sin before God so that we can bear the consequences of His righteousness before God. He ascended the hill of Calvary so we could ascend Mount Zion. The God who “calleth those things which be not as though they were” called His Son something He wasn’t—a sinner—so that He could call us something we are not—righteous. “Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin (Rom. 4:82).”

For those who believe, God sees no sin except that which is upon Jesus. God therefore punished the man Jesus until the penalty of our sin was exhausted and the justice of the law was fully satisfied.

Under the curse

Jesus hung on the cross, not as the accepted man, but as the cursed and rejected man. The human race was a mountain of condemned flesh. Jesus climbed to the top of the pile and received into his body the full blast of all God’s fury. He alone knows what it is to fall into the hands of the living God bearing the full penalty of sin. The curse of the law poured into Jesus until it was empty. The sword of justice was broken off in His holy flesh.

Resurrected

Under the watchful eye of the law, He was lowered to hell carrying the sin of the world. The law walked away from the execution fully satisfied. Viewing His execution, it closed its case against the human race.

But the Scripture quotes Jesus in that hour, “For thou will not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption (Psalm 16:10).”

When the justice of God and the demand of the law was fully expended, He exercised his rights as an overcomer and ascended, leaving the power of sin broken and death void of its sting.

A man who has paid for the crimes chargeable to him is released from prison. So God released the overcoming man from the prison house of death. In the resurrection, Jesus is the accepted Man, received into glory, seated on God’s right hand and given the promise of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:33)

If you believe this, rejoice that your sins are forgiven.

THE VISION is a book about a group of people that come together in hopes of publishing the gospel message in every language. Asher is driven to see the message published – a message his mentor died trying to share. Hope also has a dream to see these things through and works with her daughter Cheyenne to finance the work by developing a herbal berry brew. Local White Supremacists attempt to seize the brew for their own purposes. Muslim Terrorists work to prevent translation of the work into Arabic. All of this takes place in the face of government upheaval and a threatening world-wide natural disaster.

While outside forces press inward, this small group finds themselves stretched to the limit by conflicting personalities and struggles from within.

Each character examines the price they may pay to see THE VISION become a reality.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Debi Pearl is an accomplished writer and no stranger to controversy. With husband, Michael Pearl she co-authored TO TRAIN UP A CHILD. More recently, she caused an outcry among feminists of all stripes with CREATED TO BE HIS HELP MEET a work which presents a Biblically based view of women in God’s created order.

It is with this background that she has taken on the task of publishing her latest book, a work of dramatic fiction, THE VISION. She draws heavily upon the things most familiar to her – herbs, rural living and missions – to provide her readers with an exciting tale of intrigue and romance. Those familiar with the Pearls and their ministry, No Greater Joy will note the obvious parallels as the characters try to publish and distribute a chronological Bible comic book (similar to Michael Pearl’s GOOD AND EVIL, now in color and slated for world-wide distribution in 100 languages). In the process, they face peril on many levels. Throughout THE VISION readers are given references for more reading on various topics that give the plot a very realistic feel.

FROM THE COVER
“THE VISION is a touching love story, a dramatic race against evil, and an emphatic reminder of the power of God that will take you on a ride so real you will find it difficult to separate fact from fiction.”

Purchase your copy of THE VISION by Debi Pearl on November 3rd or 4th from Barnes & Noble. Email your dated receipt to Mel Cohen in order to receive your coupon codes for 25% off your purchases. Offer expires 11/09/09.

Years ago when Michael was teaching through the book of Revelation, he painted an eight-foot canvas depicting the events described by John.

It has been reproduced on thick poster paper, 38 inches long and can be used for personal or group Bible study. Michael has prepared a handbook to go with the painting, which makes it a great study guide. Verses are marked beside the images on the painting, and the handbook gives additional references out of the Old an New Testaments. If you always thought the book of Revelation was a mystery and too hard to understand, now is your opportunity to approach it in a way that makes it easy to study. This poster comes in a hard cylinder, which protects it in shipping.
